The Chief Minister also highlighted the advantages of hosting the fair at Hapania, citing its proximity to a national highway and railway station, ensuring easy accessibility. He also acknowledged the government's direct patronage of the book fair, which includes the presentation of various awards to inspire the younger generation.

Information and Cultural Affairs Secretary P. K. Chakraborty reported that book sales at the fair have been rising steadily, amounting to Rs 1.47 crore in 2024 and Rs 1.53 crore last year. This year's edition features 183 stalls.
