According to the Meghalaya Police, a group of boys went for a swim in the Serbi River. The two victims, Tylliangki and Ericson, jumped into the river near the waterfall and unfortunately drowned. The news of the incident was reported by the headman of Musiang Lamare to the police station, leading to the initiation of a search operation.
