Empowering Arunachal Pradesh's Youth: A Path Towards Progress

In the heart of North East India, Governor KT Parnaik has called upon the youth of Arunachal Pradesh to embrace their unique identity and share their state's stories with the world. This push for self-confidence and positive representation comes as a group of young leaders from the state prepare for the 29th National Youth Festival.

Projecting a Positive Image

Governor Parnaik urged the youth to project a positive and confident image of Arunachal Pradesh, both within India and on the global stage. He emphasized that the National Youth Festival is not just an event, but a celebration of ideas, culture, creativity, and youthful energy.

Learning and Innovation

The governor encouraged the youth to remain open-minded learners, observing best practices from other regions and bringing back fresh ideas, particularly in areas such as skill development, emerging industries, games and sports, talent identification, and innovation.

Relevance to the North East Region

This initiative holds significance for the North East region, as it encourages youth to learn from and collaborate with their counterparts from other parts of India. Such interactions can foster a greater sense of unity and shared purpose among the diverse states of the region.

Viksit Bharat Guarantee and Rural Livelihoods

Governor Parnaik also sensitized the youth to the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025. He described these reforms as landmark and forward-looking, aimed at strengthening rural livelihoods and transforming villages into centres of productivity, self-reliance, and inclusive growth.

Relevance to Broader India

These reforms align with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 and have the potential to address some of the challenges faced by rural India, particularly in terms of employment and livelihood opportunities.

Preparing for the Future

The governor encouraged the youth to think beyond the present and prepare for the future. He urged them to explore and champion concepts such as smart villages, cleanliness, and optimal use of technology in governance, and to become innovators and problem-solvers who use digital tools to address local challenges.

Looking Ahead

As the youth of Arunachal Pradesh embark on this journey to the National Youth Festival, it is clear that they carry with them the hopes, concerns, and dreams of their state. With guidance from leaders like Governor Parnaik, they are well-equipped to navigate the challenges of the future and shape a brighter, more promising Arunachal Pradesh.
