The event was graced by Aswin J. Parihar, Indian Forest Service, Divisional Forest Officer of South Andaman, and Rajshekhar, Logistics Manager of Experience Andamans Tours Private Limited.
The installation of the board is part of an ongoing program by the Egalitarian Manipur of the Altruists Trust (EMA Trust). This initiative aims to revive and promote the historical connection between Manipur and the Andamans, focusing on the 23 unsung war heroes of Manipur who were exiled by the British to the penal settlement at Mount Manipur following the Anglo-Manipur War of 1891.
