Nagaland Police Recruitment Drive Attracts Thousands

The Nagaland Police recently launched a state-wide recruitment drive for Constable (GD) posts, drawing significant interest from thousands of aspirants competing for a limited number of vacancies. District-wise Recruitment Processes

Recruitment rallies are being conducted simultaneously at designated centres in various districts of Nagaland. In Wokha district, the process started under the Wokha District Executive Force (DEF), with candidates undergoing medical and physical standard tests. The Mon district recruitment rally began at the Mon Local Ground, while Zunheboto district witnessed a large number of candidates competing for available posts.

• Wokha: The recruitment process in Wokha district commenced with candidates bearing serial numbers 1 to 1000 appearing for medical and physical standard tests. The tests will continue till January 9, followed by running tests and written examinations scheduled from January 10 to 13.
• Mon: The recruitment rally in Mon district began at the Mon Local Ground and will continue until January 16. A total of 6,121 candidates have applied for 166 constable posts allocated to the district.
• Zunheboto: In Zunheboto district, 2,648 candidates competed for 102 posts at the Police Reserve Ground. The recruitment rally will continue till January 10, while the written examination has been scheduled for January 20.

Recruitment in Other Districts

At the Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre (NAPTC), Chmoukedima, the first day of the recruitment rally for candidates from Dimapur, Chmoukedima, and Niuland districts began with women candidates and Angami male candidates undergoing physical and medical tests. Meanwhile, in Peren district, the recruitment is being held at the 9th India Reserve Battalion Camp, Saijang, to fill 50 constable posts. A total of 217 aspirants appeared on the first day.

At Phek, recruitment commenced at the 5th NAP Camp, with 2,741 candidates applying for 103 vacancies. Senior police and district officials were present to supervise the process.
