Empowering Future Footballers in Bishnupur: A Step Towards Building Resilient Youth
In an inspiring move, the Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam, along with the Commandant of 08 BN CRPF, Anil Kumar Ram, and renowned football coach Potsangbam Renedy Singh, have initiated a three-month-long Football Training Camp for Internally Displaced Children in Bishnupur. This innovative project, organized by the District Administration, Bishnupur, in collaboration with 08 Dett. Bn. CRPF, and sponsored by NHIDCL, aims to provide 35 children with professional football training under the guidance of certified coaches.
A Foundation for Skilled Footballers
Speaking at the inaugural function, DC Pooja Elangbam emphasized the potential of these children to become skilled footballers who could represent not just the state, but the nation at the international level. She urged the participants to seize this opportunity and learn as much as possible from the coaches.
