Skill Development Opportunities for Arunachal Youths: A Game-Changer

In a significant move towards employment readiness and global mobility, Don Bosco College (DBC) in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd (ETCPL). This collaboration aims to provide skill development and employment opportunities to the educated unemployed youths of the state.

Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd (ETCPL): India's Leading Skill Training Institute

ETCPL, a renowned skill training institute in aviation, hospitality, and cruise lines, is accredited under several prestigious organizations, including the union Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Ministry, the National Skill Development Corporation, and Skill India International.

Bridging Local Talent with World-Class Job Opportunities

This partnership is expected to significantly benefit the youths of Arunachal Pradesh, as ETCPL will conduct professional training at DBC Itanagar, preparing students and unemployed youths for careers in aviation, luxury five-star hospitality, and international cruise lines. Furthermore, campus interviews with world-class five-star luxury hotels, airlines, international airports, and luxury cruise lines will be arranged at DBC Itanagar.

Connecting Dreams with Opportunities

Young aspirants in Arunachal Pradesh who dream of working as cabin crew, airport ground staff, five-star luxury hotel professionals, or on international cruise liners can now connect with the ETCPL office located at DBC Itanagar. The first batch of training is tentatively scheduled to commence in February.

Implications for North East Region and Beyond

This collaboration represents a crucial step towards addressing the issue of unemployment among educated youths in Arunachal Pradesh and, by extension, the North East region of India. By providing world-class skill development and employment opportunities, it not only empowers individuals but also contributes to the region's economic growth and development.

In a broader context, such initiatives align with the Indian government's Skill India mission, which aims to train over 40 crore people in different skills by 2022. By preparing the workforce for the global job market, these initiatives can help India maintain its competitive edge in the global economy.

Reflections and Looking Forward

As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, it is crucial for regions like North East India to capitalize on opportunities for skill development and employment. This collaboration between DBC and ETCPL serves as a model for similar partnerships that can help bridge the gap between local talent and global opportunities.

As we move forward, it is essential to continue fostering such collaborations and investing in the education and skill development of our youth. By doing so, we can ensure a brighter future for our region and contribute to India's overall growth and development.
