In a vibrant display of pop culture enthusiasm, cosplayers from across the region gathered at the Arunachal Saras Fair in Itanagar for a competition organized by the Arunachal Cosplay Community. The event, held on January 19, showcased the burgeoning cosplay culture in the North East, attracting a total of 25 contestants.

Participants dressed as their favorite characters from popular anime, games, movies, and pop culture, with Joy Bardhan and Lila Kanta, professional cosplayers from Guwahati, emerging as the grand prize winners. The grand prize included a cash award of INR 40,000, along with two consolation prizes of INR 15,000 each for Best Performer and Best Craftsmanship.
