The opening tie featured nine bouts, with Punjab Royals dominating the day's proceedings. Chandermohan of Punjab was named the player of the match for his impressive performance in the opening bout, while Nisha Dahiya from UP Dominators was recognized as the fighter of the match for her 22-4 victory by technical superiority over Punjab's captain, Ana Godinez.

  • Chandermohan vs. Arman Andreasyan: The match began with a physical contest between Chandermohan and UP's Arman Andreasyan. Chandermohan capitalized on Andreasyan's passivity to collect points and executed a well-timed takedown.
