Analysis: Fender Audio will introduce a new line of Bluetooth speakers and headphones at CES

Fender Audio Unveils New Flagship Products at CES 2023

Fender Audio's Debut at CES 2023: What You Need to Know

Fender Audio, the consumer electronics division of the renowned instrument maker, is set to make a significant splash at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The company has partnered with Singapore-based RiffSound to introduce two flagship audio products, marking a significant expansion of Fender's product portfolio.

The ELIE Series: Powerful, Versatile, and Efficient

Under the ELIE (Extremely Loud Infinitely Expressive) brand, Fender Audio will launch two Bluetooth speakers, the E6 and E12. These speakers employ a combination of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and system-on-a-chip processing, enabling them to deliver increased volume with improved power efficiency.

  • Each speaker supports up to four audio channels, including Bluetooth, wired XLR or 1/4-inch input, and two additional wireless channels compatible with Fender Audio accessories.
  • Users can synchronize two ELIE speakers for a stereo setup.
  • While specific differences between the E6 and E12 remain unclear, the E12 appears larger in the images shared by the company.

MIX Headphones: Modular, Adaptable, and High-Performance

In addition to the ELIE series, Fender Audio will introduce the MIX headphones. These headphones are designed to cater to individual sound and style preferences, featuring a USB-C transmitter that offers lossless, low-latency, and Auracast transmission modes.

  • The headphones are equipped with 40mm graphene drivers and active noise cancellation technology.
  • They can operate in wired or wireless mode, offering up to 100 hours of battery life, according to Fender.
  • Details about the modular aspect of the MIX headphones are scarce, but they will be showcased at CES for a closer look.

Implications for the North East and India

The expansion of Fender Audio into consumer electronics underscores the growing demand for high-quality audio products in the Indian market, including the North East region. As more consumers embrace wireless and smart audio solutions, companies like Fender Audio are poised to capitalize on this trend.

Looking Ahead

While details on pricing and availability for the ELIE series and MIX headphones have not been revealed, the products are expected to hit the market soon. CES 2023 will provide a unique opportunity to assess these new offerings and understand how they compare to existing products in the market.
