Xreal 1S: Affordable AR Glasses with Enhanced 3D Capabilities

Xreal 1S: Affordable AR Glasses Transform 2D Content into Immersive 3D

At CES 2026, Xreal reaffirmed its position as a pioneer in the AR industry with the launch of the Xreal 1S. This latest offering, an updated version of the Xreal One, promises to deliver a more immersive and affordable AR experience to users.

Upgraded Specs and Lowered Price

The Xreal 1S boasts several improvements over its predecessor, including a resolution bump from 1080p to 1200p, an increased brightness of 700 nits, and a wider field of view (FoV) of 52-degrees. The aspect ratio has also been changed from 16:9 to 16:10. Despite these upgrades, the Xreal 1S is priced at $449, a $50 reduction from the Xreal One.

Real 3D: Transforming 2D Content into 3D

One of the standout features of the Xreal 1S is Real 3D, a technology that allows users to convert any 2D video content into 3D. This feature, powered by the X1 spatial computing chip, requires no additional apps, software, DRM restrictions, or proprietary players. Users can enable Real 3D in the glasses settings to enjoy their favorite content in an immersive 3D format.

Rolling Out to Xreal 1 Pro

In addition to the Xreal 1S, the Real 3D feature will be rolled out to the Xreal 1 Pro via an over-the-air (OTA) update.

Implications for the North East Region and India

The affordable price point and advanced features of the Xreal 1S make it an attractive option for tech enthusiasts in North East India and across the country. As AR technology continues to evolve, it has the potential to revolutionize various sectors, from education and entertainment to healthcare and manufacturing. The Xreal 1S could be a stepping stone towards widespread AR adoption in India.

A Continued Push for Innovation

In the words of Xreal's co-founder and CEO, Chi Xu, "Every Xreal One Series product has raised the bar for what wearable displays can achieve. With Xreal 1S, we're not only lowering the cost of entry, we're doing so while boosting specs and performance, and improving optics. We're proud to deliver Xreal 1S and maintain Xreal's leadership position at the center of the conversation for innovation, design, and entertainment in AR."
