The developer built GMprentice using Cursor and extensive use of GPT 5.2 in 'Plan Mode' and Opus 4.5 for feature implementation and iteration. The project presented unique technical challenges, including maintaining consistent personalities across multiple agents, balancing unpredictability, and ensuring the GM remains in control.

The developer found that using Large Language Models (LLMs) for coding not only improved the quality of output but also shifted the focus from nuanced details to core user experience, user journeys, and product vision. This approach allowed for faster shipping of production-ready code.
